WESTERN SICILY

Three provinces, thousands of memorable experiences!

Province of Palermo

Palermo is a city of art and glories: stunning squares, fountains, parks, and palaces. The World Heritage Sites, such as the Cathedral and the Palatine Chapel, are amongst the most beautiful places to visit. Even the typical cuisine is an art, a melting pot of the many Sicilian gastronomies. Some of the most famous specialities are pasta with sardines and street foods such as “arancine”, “panelle”, and “pani cu a meusa”. Moreover, the traditional confectionery from Palermo is one of the most appreciated in the entire world.

Province of Trapani

The province of Trapani is one of the most charming destinations of Sicily: breathtaking coasts with sharp cliffs and beautiful shores. The territory of Trapani is also quite rich in archaeological finds. In many of the small villages of the area, the most ancient traditions are still living. The coastline is full of many beautiful places: the Gulf of Castellammare, Scopello – with its stunning sea stacks-, and San Vito Lo Capo -with its white sands and its crystal-clear sea. Of great interest are also the many protected areas, such as the Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro.

Agrigento e provincia

Agrigento is world-famous for its archaeological park “Valle dei Templi”, containing the most important the remains of the Greek domination in Sicily. The old city centre is amongst the most beautiful ones on the entire Island. The Literary Park hosts the museum named after Luigi Pirandello, who was born in the ancient Girgenti. With its cultural backgrounds, the province of Agrigento is a unique land to discover.
